As one of the only few ISO 9001:2000 registered printers in the country, Precision Litho Service's quality standards are among the most rigorous in the entire printing industry. Every job we print is supported by extensive planning and supervised by our production management team which has been trained to the highest expectations of ISO 9001:2000. We have written our own management system from scratch, compliant to ISO guidelines, and have maintained our certified status consistently by constantly updating and improving our systems.
The ISO label was chosen from the Greek word iso, meaning equal. ISO refers to the International Organization for Standardization. Established in 1947, this organization comprises representatives from more than 140 countries, with the goal of setting standards that ensure the compatibility of products created and distributed in a worldwide economy. The results of ISO’s work are published as International Standards that serve as a guide to goods and services providers.
The ISO’s standards require that a company establish a “quality management system” to oversee and control the highly specific manufacturing processes the business needs to ensure that its product or service meets or exceeds the requirements of its customers.
While an ISO 9000 certification does not directly guarantee a quality product, it indicates that an organization has standardized procedures in place to monitor, evaluate and constantly improve its manufacturing processes, with the goal of increasing the quality of its products or services.
